So I haven't explained in the slightest what my music is likely going to sound like. Or where the inspiration came for that sound. I am inspired by lots of artists that I don't plan on sounding anything like. My favourite bands and artists include Tool, Pink Floyd, Om, Witchrider, Truckfighters, Black Sabbath. But I'm also inspired by lots of non-rock artists. Snarky Puppy, Deadmau5, Aphex Twin, Daniel J. Davis, J. Arthur Keenes. Desert rock, doom metal, stoner rock, idm, jazz, fusion.
I don't know if that says much about what I'll sound like. I am a fully electronic, standalone artist using analog hardware. I figure I'll end up closest to Aphex Twin in my sound. But I in no way want to copy any of these artists. I'm hoping to have my own unique sound but also have these other inspirations shine through in some tracks.
